I purchased the Airium about two months ago after my old scooter started acting up, and overall I’m very pleased with it. The first thing I noticed is how much lighter it feels-lifting it into the back of my estate car isn’t too much of a chore, even on my own. It disassembles cleanly, and getting it back together takes just a couple of minutes.
Riding around town is a pretty smooth experience. The suspension is decent and handles potholes and uneven pavement well enough. The tiller adjustment is helpful, and the LED display is bright and easy to navigate.
Battery-wise, it’s been solid: I’ve travelled about 12 miles between charges on average, which suits my daily shopping and café runs. It does slow down a bit uphill, but that’s expected with a lightweight build.
If I were to suggest improvements, I’d say the seat could be a touch more cushioned-longer trips make it a bit firmer than I’d like. Also, a storage section-or even just a cup holder-would be handy for those coffee stops.
Even with those small points, I still think the Airium is a smart choice if you want a compact, travel-friendly scooter that doesn’t compromise on reliability.
